Pranayama has lots of benefits to increase lung capacity,

What is Pranayama?
The Pranayama is the set of breathing
techniques in the practice of Yoga, which aims to control what the

That is, the etymological meaning of Pranayama is
"breath control”. However, these are only the words from which a new one
was created, whose concept or real meaning is wider: control of breathing, to
which the Yoga tradition attributes an important function, which is
to obtain energy of the universe.
The human being has always known, however primitive they
were, that breathing is one of the necessary functions to live, so it is
normal to consider breathing as a way for the Universe to transmit its energy.
